First of Many? UConn maybe cancelling fall sports

Its gonna happen. Just need to accept were not gonna have college football this year.

UCONN Football loses a ton of money. Also they can use this as a convenient excuse to drop out of the FBS.

Awful thread title.
“Current thinking is likely.” That’s a lot of qualifiers and is very different from an official announcement cancelling fall sports

UConn has this luxury because they are a top 5 worst team in FBS. Let’s see some big boys do this, then it would be a little more worrying.

This stupid and BS.
It sucks because it will be just like a month ago where it was basically a snowball rolling downhill. Once one thing got cancelled the rest fell right in line.

Schools that make money on football will want to make money on football. They might eventually cancel but they're not gonna just fall in line behind UCONN in the next week or something. Now, UMASS and New Mexico St. might.

Sucks for schools that have them scheduled for football.
