1/3 of the seats arent restricted views though. thats stupid

I'm exaggerating but you have to admit there a lot of seats with a lot of bad angles there

But bottom line I'm not sure the game is the point to Cubs fans. They are mostly there to enjoy a day out, drink a bunch and BS the afternoon away

really?

Maybe it was just our seats directly behind the left field fence were crummy. It's been years but I remember the scoreboard being terribly undersized for a ballpark of that size. The crowd knowledge and interest was awful and it was one of those warm & humid summer nights with no air circulation. The facade of the stadium looks nice but the interior could have been laid out better. At least it isn't gimmicky like Minute Maid Park.

you wanna talk gimmicky, lets talk about chase field although it is pretty sweet taking in a ball game by the pool when its 120 degrees

i think its around $12 or so. you just take the MARC on the camden line from union station and it drops you pretty close to the stadium. But it only runs M-F, thats the only thing

I will admit getting to Bawlmer from NOVA is a beating. An absolute beating. My brother lives in DC, so when I visit, I always make the trek to Camden. But the added distance of getting to Virginia would make me reconsider.

i guess that is why i like it so much. it makes the game enjoyable. i personally dont miss many pitches, but i know others do.

i guess you need to define what makes a good park?

if they have shite to do around the stadium like some parks, you are going to miss parts of the game just like you would if you are bullshitting in the bleachers at Wrigley.

oh man is it ever. It makes me cringe thinking about it.

I hate driving around here, luckily I live in eastern Arlington and I work near Georgetown, so it's only a 3 mile commute home

1. Wrigley Field
2. Coors Field
3. Ballpark in Arlington
4. Astrodome: I always enjoyed the quirkiness of it for some reason.
5. Qualcomm Stadium: kidding that place sucks. It did have good garlic fries however

FWIW: I highly dislike Minute Maid Park.

The best thing about moving to Dallas is that I never have to drive in Northern Virginia ever again.

my definition would be attractive venue and designed well enough to make the game easy to watch

what makes Wrigley field so great to you IMO is the Cubs fans. Which is a nice part of the game experience... but really happens mostly in spite of Wrigley being an aging, poorly designed stadium
