Favorite College Fight Songs

Obviously, Michigan's Hail to the Victors is my favorite.
But, to include one other than Michigan's, I always have really enjoyed Penn State's. It's pretty cool to hear in Happy Valley during a whiteout as the time runs out onto the field.

Hate to say this being an Auburn fan, but I like Bama's fight song, along with Michigan's and Georgia Tech's.

I love Michigan's and it is so hard to say that. However, I'm not sure the lyrics still work.
What does Champions of the West mean? I've always thought that line was from a pre-westward expansion, but I'm not sure that works timing wise
Actually I just looked it up. It refers to conference champions. They were in the Western Conference which was renamed the B1G in the early 1900s.
Still, it's a little pretentious (as are all things from that team)

I don't think Bama's is that great tbh.
The lyrics are pretty awkward to sing ("Bama's pluck and grit have writ her name in crimson flame" "Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then") and the references are super outdated - Bulldogs, Yellow Jackets and the Rose Bowl
We don't sing it very loud except for the first and last lines

LSU's pre-game is great. The actual fight song (Hey Fightin' Tigers), not so much. The crowd's enthusiasm drops drastically when the band transitions into it. Generally, the crowd will just clap quickly and mumble the words.
As much as I hate them, Notre Dame probably has my favorite fight song. Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Colorado and USC are all really good as well.

Of course I love AU's.
Georgia Tech's is unique and can be fun to sing.

I don't think it is the official fight song (just like Rocky Top isn't officially Tennessee's) but just for the novelty of it, I love the fact that Kansas State uses Wabash Cannonball, because at one time their music building burned and the only music that survived was in the band director's briefcase, and Cannonball was one of those pieces.
