I put the Falcons chances at winning the division somewhere between slim and none. The Saints are going to rape the NFL this year.

Last year was interesting.

The Saints, without their head coach, split the series with the Falcons and were the worst game in Drew Brees's life from sweeping the series. Oh, and this was also with the Saints having one of the worst defenses in the history of the league.

Now, if there is such a massive talent gap between the teams, as you imply, then the only explanation is that your head coach is on par with our assistants. Which of course means that with your daddy, Sean Payton, back you should get used to getting swept again.

Rise up out of your seat and go home in the third quarter--again, bitch.

You're gonna make ritt's black and red glasses explode with all that logic.....or it will get stopped by his massive black and red firewall...probably the latter.

what is the logic there? without our coach we are only 6 games worse than you! that means with him, we are now better! logic!

I think everyone understands that with what the saints went through last year success was nearly impossible. But his post was comparing the saints/falcons head to head, not overall record or standings.

well you guys might care about head to head, but i care about overall record and standings, since that's, ya know, what matters. obviously beating the saints is instrumental to divisional success, but if it doesnt happen and we win the division, im satisfied.

i also get that he was responding to the dude talking about talent differential between saints and falcons so it's relevant to bring up the head to head. but then his whole argument relies on the coach and brees playing shitty, which ill just ignore because players playing badly is a bad argument to make about a loss (of course. that's why you lost). really odd that he quotes about talent differential and then talks about a coach the whole post (oh, but a coach is part of our talent!).

I agree and I've already addressed that. Moved onto head to head replying to another post.

How miserable of a person does one have to be in order to be a Falcons fan?

Serious question.

he would be a good addition for a year or two

At best

If you could get 20 snaps a game out of him and low ball his contract that might be a decent impact.

Also applies to the Braves and UGA football.

Hard to get a bye when your divisional rival is sporting a shiny 13-3 record.

What's Payton's record against them? 10-1? It's amazing to me that they can sit here and talk in absolutes with that kind of history vs. our coach and QB.
