With the Ferguson protestors' symbol being the "hands up, don't shoot " sign, what would be a good symbol for Sharper's supporters to use?

I guess "I can't breathe" doesn't fit here either...

do Saints fans give him consideration for his performance on the field, or do they think he's a piece of shite?

Is it possible for me to think that what he did in 2009 was unbelievable, but that he's a massive piece of shite and deserves everything coming his way?

I believe the 2 can be looked at separately from a conversational standpoint, but if the Saints have anything in their hall of fame that is Sharper related, they may want to evaluate removing it.

Is this a serious question?

Why are the two related anyways? He was great on the field and huge POS as a person. He was also a NFL network analyst after retiring.

We need to stop calling every black dude a thug.

Sharper comes across more like a semi-charming sociopath than a thug.

now no longer a cop

but he graduated with me and was one of the worst wide receivers and power forwards in Chalmette High history... we played Salmen in basketball in a rivalry game in our district.Second quarter, coach puts him in, the whole student section screams "NOOOOOO!!!!". First time he gets the ball, he loses it out of bounds and Chalmette eventually loses to Salmen...

I can say the standard of evidence does not have to be very high to indict. Of the 20 or 30 cases the juries that I served on viewed, there was always enough of a case that we agreed to indict every time

Obviously never handled any cases where the police officer used overly-aggressive tactics and killed someone.

Josh Brent vs. Darren Sharper on-field is absolutely no comparison. I think Darren Sharper's season in 2009 was instrumental in winning that elusive Lombardi trophy for the beloved Saints, who had never been to the promised land, Rondo.

These accusations are undeniably egregious; the question is do diehard Saints fans appreciate what he did in 2009 to help seize the Lombardi enough to look at him in a less judgmental viewpoint?

I was as happy as anybody when the Saints fans won against Manning in the Super Bowl, but I'm hoping this guy gets life in prison.

So, a white grand jury has indicted a single black male. With the Ferguson protestors' symbol being the "hands up, don't shoot " sign, what would be a good symbol for Sharper's supporters to use? Will be looking for The Most Honorable Al Sharpton to jet down any day now
