Applied to a few just for the hell of it. Hoping to get one in Con. For the summer that has to do with sports research and keeping up with statistics. Would be a dream job with as much free time that i spend looking up football stats/information.

Phone interview?

What sourts of questions did they ask. I applied for the same one yesterday. The status says "in progress". Not sure what that means tho.

In my last semester on Engineering so hoping to get the job as it is my last chance for an internship at ESPN. What were you studying in school?

i got an email and they said i was through to round 2. round 2 was a written test. i was an english/psych major but doing journalism at the time. so i was going to mix the stats part of psych with the journalism. the written test was a lot of re-writing stuff and also just general knowledge questions about sports. stuff anyone who watches sports should know.

the phone interview was talking about my goals and what i wanted to do long term and how the internship would help me. it was a long process and by the time i got to the phone interview i already had other things lined up, so i phoned it in (no pun intended). it was a cool process, though. good luck

I had a friend several years back that did while he was at Syracuse and was referred by a professor. It was super, super competitive.

I just took the online test. Think i did ok. I am very educated when it comes to the NFL and college football, did not know too much about the MLB.

I wonder what an acceptable score on the test is. I probably had 75-80 ish percent correct.
