Herby and Holtz just got their rocks off now that Barkley is staying and USC is bowl-eligible. ESPN is going to be all up their arses for the next year. Can't wait.

Yeah, ESPN pimped him so much he....didn't get a trip to New York in spite of having better numbers than Andrew Luck.
This really makes next season more interesting. 07 was great because of the chance of USC and LSU playing for it all and we'll see that all season in 2012.

Well, I can see an offseason media storm pegging USC #1 over LSU (because they have their QB back and "LSU is breaking in a new one" even though we will probably be stronger in almost every single area).
They'll also put Barkley as the clear early favorite for the Heisman.
The only good thing is that if they can survive that "brutal" Pac-12 schedule without 2 losses, we can finally play them and settle this shite.

What exactly will be settled if we happen to be lucky enough to play USC in the BCSNCG next year? I hope you are not referring to the 2003 splice NC for gods sake. Not only wiuld that be Damn near 10 years later it would have absolutely positively nothing to do with what the AP elected to do in 2003?
I don't understand the complex that some LSU fans have towards the 2003 season. We won the NC plain and simple and USC didn't??
