I don't watch much MLB but I remember that being a huge deal at the time.

ESPN = Progressives

This behavior shouldn't shock anyone.

It really is not that big of a deal, people are making it to be bigger than what it is. Their station, their time, their decision. If you do not like it do not watch it. I did not, not because I am a ESPN hater I watched NHL playoffs.

If they acknowledge they're basically a pseudo-sports reality entertainment company then sure, remove it and be done with it. However, if they want to claim they're in any way related to something even close to a journalistic institution, then yes this is absurd.

Their pettiness knows no bounds.

The doc was produced by and heavily features Bill Simmons, who just had an ugly breakup with ESPN. If ESPN was that sensitive, wouldn't they remove Simmons? Or do people just want to white Knight for Schilling?

Yeah but it's still dumb. Just run another 30 for 30 to avoid the bitching that would obviously ensue.

Not sure if you heard, but they recently fired a sports analyst for repeatedly being political.

Right, and they didn't fall all over themselves to adulate Bruce Jenner with their lame awards show. Nor do they push out a Title IX promotion every year.

Ya frickin' noob

ESPN has really been trending downward the last few years and now they've become too PC.

Wow. Firing a guy is one thing, but changing the history books is another.
