His shirt said Greg Sankey loves Alabama, followed by "Kiss my arse if you please" in Cajun French.

Yet ESPN lets Bama fans call into finebaum’s show and threaten, verbally abuse, and target ESPN personalities and their families

Yeah they're more worried about a business partner than an on air personality.

James Carville, the once and future scumbag

He must leave a slime trail

I wonder if he is ever embarrassed by the current party

College Gameday was fine with Carville, the whole point of the segment was to rile up the crowd. Sankey must have called some higher ups

I wonder if you ever have the ability to separate politics from your brain for even a split second. Try to enjoy life once in a while. Sheesh.

They were, but they weren't. Herbstreit obviously knew it was great television, plus Carville may have been hammered it seemed, but Desmond knew real quick after he started listing the SEC's biases being publicly exposed like that that it was going to piss off a major business partner for the network.

That's why about 1 minute into the segment, Desmond said, "OK, thank you Mr. Carville"

He was ready for him to get his dumb arse off the stage, but Herbstreit, who obviously has more clout with Gameday and the network, kept egging on Carville.

Davis even made sure to mention the "tin foil hat" crowd right after Carville left. They knew the sec would be pissed about the segment. It was clearly not a planned segment, Carville just was able to get on stage because of his semi celebrity.

The only reason they had him on was to get him to say what he said.

The entire thing was planned. ESPN knew what Carville was gonna say. What they didn’t know was that they would get pressure back to apologize

Grabbing bite to eat ? @philsoysterbar ? and I see gutless ESPN cut in their show to bow down to the SEC. well I got documentary evidence they knew what they were gonna get on air but still can’t help but suck up to power. #GeauxTigers #speaktruthtopower #releasethetexts

Tasteless segment

Didn’t feel like it deserved an apology tho

This country is full of fricking pussies that feel the need for apologies for anything
