I don't see how you can blame ESPN for this. It's the end of July with nothing going on. What do you want them to talk about with Fournette? There is nothing happening on the field to even bring up.

It's a business. Controversy (even if contrived) sells. Being a good person doesn't. If you don't like that fact, don't watch.
With the advent of the internet there is no need to watch ESPN except for live broadcasts. I can get the information I want at the drop of a hat. I love sports, but I find it incredibly boring to watch guys on TV talking about sports.
