LINK

Not gonna lie, I felt really bad for her after watching that.

And I don't give a shite if she's going to "profit" financially off of this; she might never be the same after what the creep did to her. Honestly, when she's mentioned now it's one of the the first things that comes to mind. And that's a horrible reality for a publicly known female in today's society.

But is it worth $75 million?

I have no idea.

But if she's faking emotions in the video from the link, then she needs to pack up and head straight to Hollywood for a long acting career awaiting her.

the guy is a loser and feel bad for her, as far as her career it seemed to take off after the tape.

I never watched the link video, but she has a right to be upset, it's very creepy.

BUT it seems a bit dramatic that she's so worried that her date may have seen it (as an overwhelming thought, rather than just a lingering thought). Now if she had something physically wrong with her (obesity, skin conditions, scars, etc.), or something like body dysmorphia maybe that would be more understandable.

Or maybe, in fairness to her, this is just a result of our culture that is so traumatized by the human body so she's more worried about that perception.

Edit: To explain what I meant by "something wrong with her."

It is a terrible thing that she was violated like that, but she really owes the success she has today to that incident.

Before she was the hot girl on ESPN that sports fan knew, after she was a household name to anyone that had never seen a sporting event.

It's terrible, but it's true.

None of that is true.

I think that's a very reasonable thing to worry about. Much like someone who's ultra-rich worrying in the back of their minds about whoever they're dating being a gold-digger.

Except she had no control over this.

And maybe it did make her my famous, but at what cost?

Yeah, I think you're stretching both angles of that take IMO.

You really don't see this as an issue with future relationships? Especially if you're a female? A video of you naked gets out there and you pretty much know any guy you meet has seen it, along with most if not all of his friends. Great start, huh?

so what, she probably fricked most of her first date guys anyways. you don't have to see her naked in a blurry video to know she's a smokeshow.

I'm not saying I don't see it as a potential issue, but I'm looking at it within the context of a 75 million dollar lawsuit.

Besides, it's not like a leaked sex tape or something. I'm just saying that it may be in the back of her mind, but it seems a little bit irrational if it's front and center.

Although I'm not pretending I know HOW person should react, but the lawsuit adds an additional layer of caution when interpreting irrationality.

I had an easier time jerking it to her crying on the stand than to that weak arse peep hole video

People keep saying this, and they're wrong. She was very well known before the video came out in 2009.

If she wouldn't have done that Oprah interview, do you guys think she'd be a household name and Dancing With the Stars? No, the sole reason why she's popular now is because of that video, but I do think it had something to do with the exposure she has gotten.

She obviously doesn't need the money. This is a "send a message" lawsuit, IMO. That punitive kind.
