He played his entire career with Kevin Gilbride. A lot of good QBs would rack up the picks with him as OC.

They don't win two Super Bowls without him. Especially the second one.
They may. They were what 9-7 in the regular season? Maybe with good QB play they are 13-3 and everything changes. I will admit the mouthbreather was great in the playoffs, but he drooled all over the regular season

Eli has a 44-23 Td/Int career ratio against the Cowboys. His career passer rating against them is 91.8.

I hope we resign him too.

So you're saying the Super Bowl MVP wasn't the main reason the Giants won those two Super Bowls? Yeah. I'm the dumb one.
This is wonderful.

I love when someone bashes the use of a stat and in the same fricking thread uses the stat to try to defend something

You're using winning SBs as a correlation for individually pay logic is flawed.

But isn't that the objective of all players playing in the NFL??? Winning the SB?? He has won two and has the most road wins in the playoffs in NFL history... I am quite sure... Maybe Brady....

Eli Manning is 1 of 11 QB's in NFL history with 2 or more Super Bowl rings. And 1 of 2 QB's actively with the other being Ben Roethlisberger. Give the man his money.

Rings are an awful argument.

The helmet catch, which was pure luck, doesn't make Brady worse.

An undrafted rookie free agent jumping a route does not make Brady better.

No one should be arguing that Manning is a horrible QB and I don't think anyone is. The few times he has made the playoffs he has shown that he is worthy of his last name.

However, looking at his numbers since their last Super Bowl appearance, as well as the fact that Tom Brady isn't even in the list of Top 15 highest paid QBs, much less players, and you can't do anything but laugh at the idiocy that is Eli Manning and his agent.

He's a league average QB. He has never been elite, he's been great a couple of seasons, average most seasons, and bad a couple of seasons.
