That's just unnecessary. All about player safety? Please.

These Thursday games are worthless past opening night

If they don't work the bye week in before the game it's hypocritical of the NFL with their fines and be posing about player safety when they throw them out there with 3 days of rest. Total BS for their network, which I enjoyed at first but has gone to shite as well

NFL could care less about player safety. They only cared because it could cost them money. Now that the suit is settled they will back off.

And safety is the reason the Bucs can't wear their throwbacks.

I was just about to start a thread about this. I think these Thursday night games are not fair. Although Kansas City is on the way up, I have a hard time believing they are better than the eagles. Philly just has to be exhausted!

Thursday games should only be opening weekend and thanksgiving. Other than that they need to go.

The Chiefs played 3 in 12. Is it really that much of a difference?

How will tomorrow's injury report compare with your average team's Monday injury report following a Sunday game? Does anybody know, or are we just assuming that more players get hurt on Thursday than on Sunday?

I myself have no idea since I've never researched it, but I've never heard anybody give any statistics supporting a theory that Thursday games fly in the face of a concern for player safety.

I think the point is since they are playing more games in a shorter period they have a more likely chance of getting hurt since their bodies have a shorter amount of time to recover, not just playing Thursday night games.

79 minutes & 24 seconds is how much time Philly's defense has been on the field this week.
