Driver broke on driving range, head is "missing" after ball cart ran over it

rather than retelling the story I am just going to post the email I sent to the director of the golf course it happened on, I aint happy. Am I fricked or should I expect some store credit on a new driver since apparently mine vanished out of thin air

On Tuesday, February 21st, I was hitting on the driving range before teeing of around 12:30. While hitting my driver the shaft split and the head broke off and flew about 75 yards into the driving range. Due to the amount of people on the range I figured it was not a good idea to attempt to run out an grab it. Two other men (whose contact information I have) on the range watched the man driving the the ball cart slow down before the head, look at it, run over it, and proceed to keep driving. The head disappeared so we figured at the time that it got picked up and I could just pick it up at the clubhouse. However, after going to the clubhouse immediately after it happened, after hole 9, and after 18 the driver claims to have not seen it after 3 of us witnessed him slow down and then proceed to run over it. I called on Wednesday to ask about it thinking maybe it got drug and picked up later and was once again told that no one has seen it. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble but now instead of just having to get a new shaft I am stuck with having to purchase an entire new driver. If I had to guess what happened he ran over the head an then realized it messed up it up and he threw it away in fear of getting reprimanded. Please get in contact with me via email or phone as a driver head does not just disappear when it was in plain site between the hitting area and the red pole. The head is a black Orlimar Hip Ti.
