He should’ve done it with his Lexus voice.

Simmons has been trying to push this but it doesn’t really make a lick of sense if Brady were to unretire there’s no reason why he wouldn’t go back to the Bucs. I get they’ve got some cap magic to work on but he’s still got plenty of pieces on that team

Not to mention I don’t see Shannahan changing his offense for Brady and I don’t see Brady looking to learn a new one

They also gave up a boat load of picks for Trey Lance

I would not rule this out. He has always wanted to finish his career in San Francisco. Not saying it will happen but as a 49ers fan it would not surprise me one bit.

I’d love some links on this because I never heard this once over the last 15-20 years outside of people just speculating that he could be interested in that because he was a fan as a kid. He has stated that he stopped being a 49ers fan the day they took Gino over him in the draft. I don’t think he has this huge wish the finish in SF.

This is the latest example of an ex team mate talking about it. There are others that have talked about it. Again not saying it will happen but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Scott Zolack is not an ex teammate of Brady’s and I love him but he’s a certified loon

As I said; there’s been plenty of people speculate that over the years simply by going “well Tom Brady was a 9ers fan so this would make sense” but it’s never been reported by anything actually sourced out or legit that he has that desire and if it were as strong as you believe it to be, it certainly would’ve been a bigger storyline during the end of his time in NE

Brady can easily force his way there if that's what he wants. Give Trey another year to learn and give Brady a one year deal. Hell everyone on that staff can see with even decent quarterback play we are playing in the Super Bowl this weekend. Plug Brady in an instantly become the favorites. Thats why im saying its not a impossible/not gonna happen idea

This would certainly prolong Saints fans’ hatred for Brady.

Yeah I understand it’s technically possible, my argument was never that it was an impossibility but it just doesn’t really make sense for any of the parties involved and the statement you made that “Brady has wanted to end his career in San Fransisco his entire career” just isn’t correct or atleast isn’t verified or reported anywhere reliably so if you’re basing the whole thing on that, it’s pretty flimsy

Sitting your top 3 pick that you gave up multiple firsts for for another season is still a tough sell with Brady incoming. Plus again either Brady has to adapt to the 49ers offense or vice versa and I don’t see Kyle Shannahan budging on his scheme and I definitely don’t see Brady wanting to learn a completely different scheme at age 45 in a swan song season

Tampa still has a pretty stacked roster (if he’s a part of it and after some cap magic) thats built for him that he’s comfortable with. If he has the itch again he’ll just do that.

Especially since he hasn’t played since 2019 basically

Brady has tasted the freedom of DeSantis' Florida and its tax laws. I can't see him going anywhere else, except maybe Tennessee for a year or two. Yeah, SF is home and they're team talent is excellent and the NFC is weaker than the AFC on top QBs, but he also has a son on the east coast who is going into HS.

Id he does un-retire, however, you can bet he'll never go anywhere again that isn't buttoned-up like NE was and knows how to handle situational FB.

He literally brought Tampa back from a 24pt hole in 1.5 qtrs, just to have Todd Bowles blow it all in the final 30 seconds of the game.

If McDaniels were the coach at Miami, he'd probably force a deal there tommorrow.

That's not what happened. Unless Brady can magically cause fumbles for the other team and throw penalty flags. Stop making a self-destruct NBA game into a personal comeback. No one bought that Atlanta forced narrative. Brady wasn't good that day. It was a blowout until the Rams offense got him back in the game. There's comebacks and there's let back by fluke, crazy bumbling and ineptitude all of which happened while Brady was sulking on the sidelines.
