Kershaw sailed through the game and Cain had to pitch out of 3 jams so it might be a stretch saying he pitched just as well.

cain wasn't as dominant. his team couldn't catch popped up bunts or fly balls causing jams. not to mention, he walked a batter as well.

when you strike people out your pitch count takes a hit. I will take 3K over 8K any day if it means my pitcher goes deeper in the game.

other thoughts on the game after reading recap and watching highlights:
- to reiterate.. Kontos sucks balls
- Posey throwing out Carl Crawford at 3rd was a nice play
- couple of poor defensive plays by Pence and Brandon Crawford
- hell of a job by Cain to get out of the jam in the 6th by sitting down AGonz and Ethier with called strike 3's
also, what can you tell me about this guy Ryu who's starting for y'all tomorrow? why no Greinke?

greinke had a setback a couple weeks ago, so he was behind on his ST starts. he's throwing friday night.
