One is a homo; the other is a dumb jock. Let's listen to their hilarity sponsored by the Subway fresh take hotline. If you love Subway, go to subway.com for a free anema. Keyword: mikeandmike.

Serious answer: who cares.

Because Greenie is blowing up the show to go solo.

Well there were some rumblings that Golic felt betrayed by Greenie going behind his back to get his own show, and that Golic now hates him.

They have been paid for 18 years to focus on their differences.
They mock each other. It wears on you.

They're both eminently hate-able, so I'm guessing yes.

Greenie throwing his northwestern/jets fandom in your face is aggravating and unprofessional in my opinion. It's fine to be in the media and still be a fan but every college or NFL person he has on the show he ropes them into talking about his teams when they are both irrelevant and nobody cares about them. "How do you feel about northwestern being a dark horse this year?!"

Did anyone see the story this week that Greenie floated a fake rumor that Luck's time with the Colts were done? Schefter and Golic Jr. grilled him on it the rest of the week
LINK
quote:

ESPN’s Mike Greenberg (seen above) created a frenzy Wednesday on Mike and Mike, citing a “general sense” from people around the league of an “ever-widening gap” between Andrew Luck and the Colts and saying “There’s some talk that even with that enormous contract and that enormous talent, we could be seeing, right before our eyes, the end of the Andrew Luck era in Indianapolis.” Luck’s agent denied that to the Indianapolis Star, saying “The speculation/rumor is simply not true” and calling it a “non-story.”

On Thursday, a couple of Greenberg’s colleagues appeared to take further pokes at him. Mike Golic Jr. poked fun at this on his own ESPN Radio show First and Last, including inviting listeners to call or tweet in fake rumors, and on Mike and Mike itself, Greenberg had quite the conversation with ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

It's sports talk radio. Wtf is he supposed to talk about. He has to kill 3-4 hrs of radio every day. I'd be talking about my effing bowel movements if it came to that

The only sports talk show worse than theirs, is the Dan Le Betard show. That's horrible.

Greenie negotiated his own t.v. show completely behind golics back and then didn't tell him after he got his show. Golic didn't find out about the show until he saw the ads for it

So a guy named Greenberg pulled a move that many call "getting Jewed". Hmmm

I'd be pretty pissed if I did a daily show with someone for 18 years and I wasn't the first one to know they were leaving. I can understand why Golic would have hard feelings.
