You have to be a psycho to rape someone in front of another person (the woman's attorney said that another person witnessed).

So, isn't this something that can potentially put the dude in jail for a long time and negate his chance of even playing in the NFL?

Which usually onsets after a day or two. This girl went with her friend to the police station at 4 in the morning to file a police report, claiming the incident had happened just hours before.

She reported it to the police immediately after it happened. Usually takes more than a few hours to know if you've been impregnated.

If a woman has just been raped, her report of the persons height and weight will likely be far off. A woman that has just been raped will not be in her right mind.

I mean, I put myself in her shoes.
I am away at school, away from my family and in a town where football is everything.
I'm raped by some guy. I go to the police and get a rape kit done - which can be as invasive and traumatizing as the rape itself.
I identify the guy. I find out he's a big deal football player. The police detective actually tries to persuade me not to press charges because "football is a big deal here and your life will be made miserable".
I get stonewalled by the police and it seems the investigation is going nowhere for months.
I could totally see her realizing she isn't getting any justice so she decides to move away and try and put it behind her and get on with her life.
Acquaintance rape happens every single night on every single college campus and most women do not report it.
It happened to my sister at Alabama.
For every attention whore who cries rape the morning after, there are probably 10 women who are date raped and never tell anyone but their closest friends.
This thing is going to get very ugly, I'm afraid.
I mean, I put myself in her shoes.

I've been all over the map on the issue as has everyone here so far. My completely out of the loop self is guessing they had sex and she either didn't feel comfortable after or she's evil. I don't mean to be insensitive and I'm not saying she's a pos liar. It's just my guess at this point.
