Hicks' back is jacked up. He probably didn't have much left in him.

You don't play game 3 of a Super the same way you play a Saturday game vs Troy.

Yes you do. Ever heard the saying, "you dance with who brung you?" That's what got them there and that's what was going to win the game for them

I agree he probably didn't have much left, but he got 2 fly outs and I believe had more to give.

They played to win. As they did all season. When you have the talent to do that you win a ton of games but you won't win them all.

Only time we had considerable momentum, Bianco needed some fresh dirt on the mound.

Momentum is not something that sustains itself very long against teams with really good staffs.

Hell, Ellis is their ace. He wasn't at his best in Game 1.

UL was a very dangerous team. OM going down there and taking 2 out of 3 was very impressive, but they did win the SEC West. That's a very solid club right there and has as good a shot as any to win it all.

It's a shame both teams couldn't go.

If you are comfortable with those decisions as a ULL fan, then good for you

The only decision that was questionable was the steal attempt on 1-2 following all the pick attempts.

I'm very happy with both aggressive decisions to go for the steal and definitely to send the runner home with 2 outs, trying to swing momentum on our side.

I do question running Seth Harrison out there when he hadn't thrown a live game pitch in a couple weekends, but Robichaux coached our guys to 58 wins this season. I coached them to 0. I find the know-it-all lazy-boy coaches whose biggest athletic accomplishment is eating popcorn at some championship game their school won to be morons.

nor trying to score the guy on the double when they could've had 2nd and 3rd with two outs.

it was the right call by the 3rd base coach. 9 times out of 10 he will score. Was a perfect strike to the plate that got him. Plus if the runner had slid feet first would have probably been safe. The runners legs would have move the catchers leg out of the way. You have to take a chance now an then to win. Plus Team Louisiana wasn't hitting very well. good call

Harry and Adams will end up leaving as well. Baranik is our only one on the fence for me.

My daughter attended LSU with Carson - he gone. With Aut, Baranik, and Boutte gone (not to mention the 5 relievers), the position players will be quick to follow.

ULL will be left with a catcher, a SS, and a RFer.

Every time I saw the replay of the throw at home I did not see the catcher tag the runner. He seemed to have been safe at home. If he scores they are tied, but then there was the 9th inning so I guess it is irrelevant.

No USL fan here but I thought Robichaux burned a few pitchers early when he went situational,lefty/righty matchup, too early & ended up, apparently, running out of pitchers when the game was on the line. He gets a pass from the fans on what I consider a legit mistake.
