Was there a college quarterback even close to as good he was this year?
He was the best player on the field tonight with all of the studs Bama has.
I love Baker Mayfield but Watson is on another level.

He definitely shouldnt have won the Heisman this year, unless you count the NC game, which you dont. He is definitely the favorite for next year though.

Watson got owned a few times this year, but he's really solid. This may have been his best game of the season. He showed a lot of people that a running qb leaves a bama lb in no man's land and they don't know how to cover so the middle of the field is there for the taking.

I'm not so sure I would say Watson got owned a few times this year. He passed for 4K and ran for 1K and lead his team to being undefeated in the regular season.
That aside, Rivals apparently wasn't overly impressed with his "bowl performances" against OU and BAMA as he didn't make their All Bowl QB First Team.
