Deshaun Watson.

It seems every nfl scout is high on him as a potential number one pick, weird considering the system Clemson is running. I haven't seen one scout saying he is not a top 15 pick. What do y'all think.

Great skill set for a college QB but nothing jumps out as far as arm strength, accuracy, or dissecting defenses.

Does adammwilson still post here? He's a scout.

number 1 pick or top 15? There's a big difference there. By "number 1" do you mean 1st round?

He can't keep his equipment on

I would argue arm strength, but 69% seems high in terms of accuracy.

It's often futile to ask NFL scouts about sophomores, as they rarely assess prospects before they are draft eligible. But there's an increasing feeling that Watson's rare blend of precision passing and elite athleticism will propel him to become the top quarterback taken in the 2017 draft, as well as a potential top-10 pick. "The premium for that position will put him in that conversation," one veteran scout told SI.com. "He's big and fast and mechanically very good. He's over the top with his release. He throws with velocity and touch and throws a very good deep ball."

He is Nick Marshall 2.0. Except I think Marshall was a better passer.

He's got really nice touch and is probably one of the best deep ball throwers in the nation, but when I say accuracy I mean fitting the ball into tight windows. Maybe he does have that ability but the offense he runs doesn't really show it.

I think those scouts will lose their job over this guy. Works in college, NFL, not so much.

I wouldn't even draft him, just another RG3. College QB and never will be anything more. Great kid and good college QB but will never play consistently on Sunday.

Nick Marshall is a CB and return man for the Jaguars. Watson is destined for another position if he plays in the NFL.

Easily will be a top 3 pick in 2017. Big, arm, composed, and good mobility. A nfl analog would be alex smith/tannehill but more arm. He's not athletic as cam/luck/mariota/kaep and he doesnt have that elite fastball. Would I want him? Yes! Take him over any of the 2016 guys.
