Deadspin had two sources that not only confirmed they are friends but they believed they were in league together on the hoax. Read the transcripts, read the reports. They only consistent element is that manti teo is a liar whose fake gf somehow died the same day as his GM.

After reading Schapps summary of the interview I've got to admit I'm leaning towards believing him at this point, I could see the hoaxer getting pissed about Manti snapping at her after his grandma passed and wanting to make him feel like shite by "dying" hours later

I don't know if they were friends or knew each other beforehand, but even if they did it doesn't mean teo was in on it. Roniah seems like a weird frick who's apparently used this same persona in the past to meet athletes. I think teo didn't want to admit to friends that he had never met this love of his life so he started lying about where he met her. Then roniah had to kill her off before the Stanford game this year because there'd be no excuse why she couldn't meet him.

In this thread I have steadfastly maintained the simplest and most logical explanation. Any explanation that includes "manti is a victim" in any way, shape or form is a tin hat conspiracy

Looking for a motive is pointless. Kids are fricking dumb. Who cares? That's why I wish teo would just forego the next two weeks and cop to it. It's going to come out.
I won't get into religion because I don't want the ban hammer but one religion isn't any dumber than the other and in a world full of religious people I don't think it's possible for any of them to be as dumb as manti teo is claiming to be.

Also, I wish I could talk openly about my job on here because there's crazy shite all the time, but I did see a member of the tuiososopo family tonight (wearing a #71 tuiososopo 49ers jersey) with a younger guy who seemed to be family.
