Hate the move to put Gattis in the lineup just because he's back. Tucker is hot and needs to play. Especially with a righty on the mound.

Tucker will get a key pinch hit chance in this one, probably for Kratz who is only starting because he has good career results versus Medlin.

Baws...it looks like kratz took a dive intentionally last night. The boys put him up to it.

Was busy this afternoon, but to revisit the Bregman catching thing...I don't think he ever really caught much in high school even though Mainieri and the media always brought it up when he was here at LSU. He was going to catch his senior year hoping to improve his draft stock because his bat would play up so much better at that position. Most scouts questioned whether he would stick at SS, and his power wouldn't profile as a high first round pick at 3rd.

If Bregman could catch... I'm not even gonna waste the effort in hoping. I do think he could transition into playing left field. I really don't want to feel like we are forced to trade him because of the lack of room. Would hate to settle for a rental or an above average pitcher under team control.

Seeing Gattis without the beard is just plain weird

If he's traded it's not for lack of room...it's for acquiring a pitcher who will help us win the division and present a big challenge in the playoffs. This team lacks pitching.

So are we allowed to see if these guys settle in instead of coming to a conclusion in 7 games?

You'd honestly be much easier to handle if you'd let things play out. Instead, you post as if your opinions are FACT and clear and utter panic.

I hear ya about the pitching staff, but if there was a spot open in the middle infield he'd be off limits. The team is so loaded he isn't really needed so to speak, so it has to make him easier to trade. I just don't want to settle for a rental or like I said MoR type pitcher. I honestly want to much for him. LSU homer so I'm biased, but I think he's gonna be really good.

Would be epic if Angle's music was his walk up tune.

I just hope the crowd wouldn't chant "YOU SUCK"

I agree...if we didn't have Correa and altuve you would need to look at him differently.

Checking in - may not be able to stay up for the whole game, but I'm going to watch 6 or 7 innings tonight. No work until 5am tomorrow

This team has me so excited... Still amped to watch them after the newness of the season has worn off. Too many young budding stars on this team. We're the luckiest fans in the majors.

This is 100% not a troll but holy hell where is everyone at? Y'all had a great crowd last night but only like 1/5 of that so far tonight

I saw a lot of people online pissed about outrageous parking prices around the park (like $60). That'll kill a midweek crowd.

Also, Fiers looks like he is going to get killed tonight.

It's a Tuesday night and people in Houston have jobs and kids sports practices to tend to.

I'm watching a crapton of games this year too, especially if the AL West has a day game.
