One thing that concerns me. I'm a bit fearful of becoming the 2014 Brewers...

quote:

Upon watching the Brewers' free-swinging, all-or-nothing offense in action, each of those visitors inevitably asked the same question: Can the team sustain that kind of unorthodox attack over a full season?

By season's end, the answer was obvious: No.

Opponents began exploiting the Brewers' lack of plate discipline and dependence on the home run, and the runs dried up. With a playoff berth on the line, the offense completely disappeared in September, averaging a meager 2.73 runs per game.

Through 80 games a year ago the Brewers were 48-32. They finished 82-80 and in 3rd place.

The Brewers didn't have a rotation and bullpen like we will have in September.

Keuchel
Cueto
Feldman
McCullers
Jabroni

And if we go for another reliever at the deadline, that's a back end of the bullpen consisting of Harris, Neshek, Gregerson and a trade arm

I really feel like we need a starter and a reliever.

And as much as I want Cueto/Chapman, I think the more realistic option is Kazmir/Clippard

frickwad just hit a homer to tie the Yankees. Erik Aybar goes back to back with his 2nd homer.

Also not that anyone is surprised but Minute Maid Mickey Mantle Chris Young is 0-7 since leaving Houston.

Montgomery with a no-no through 6 for Seattle.

Heard today he was pitching so well that JA Happ may be traded.

I just have this sneaky feeling that if we make the playoffs, Chris Carter is going to hit like .600 in the postseason.

Tonights win secured a winning June for us. It was close but...

April 15-7
May 16-13
June 15-14

~The last time we had 3 winning months in a season was 2008.

~The last time we had 3 consecutive winning months in a season was 2004 (the 3rd month is 3-0 in October of 04)

~The last time we had 3 consecutive winning months to start the season was 1999. That team won 97 games and coincidentally had a 46-34 record through 80 games.
