Who else would they bring up? After Obies meltdown, are you bringing him back up immediately? It's a dumb question. He was pretty much the only option left right now.

They pushed the whole rotation back. They didn't have to do that with the All-Star break so near.
And Obie has to stay down 10 days. He was no option here.
Fausto earned another spot start because he was pitching well on the MLB level. Straily's numbers were not good enough. Too many hits allowed thanks to a garbage flat fastball.
As for your Fields bullshite, take that misdirection bullshite to another poster who will bite on it. I'm not Ryno.

And thats why Derek Jeter was a "gold glover". He doesn't get to that ball. Thus, can't make an error. Carlos goes a long arse way just to get the ball and gets charged with an error. Ok
