After the super 2 deadline in mid June. Really hope Fausto can do Fausto things today and keep things under control, and hopefully the big bats can deposit a few into the outfield seats.

For the guys that watch all the games. What do yall think about villar this year? His bat seems to be getting better.

Villar is still a headache in the field. If he were just a little more reliable, you'd love him as a super utility guy moving forward. He hits really well from the right side. I think they keep him over MarGo long term because he can play anywhere the OF and can run better, but that's just a guess and not a preference.

Also learned the other day that he's the first choice for a positional player to pitch if the situation ever arises

So weird to not see Jose out there in the first inning. But I agree he needed a day off. He's been in a terrible funk.

He definitely needed a day off. On the radio broadcast they are talking about flip flopping Springer and Altuve in the lineup. I'm not opposed to the idea at all.
