Yeah the orioles manager knew though that his righty wound be much harder for Chad than Perez. as soon as Chad looked bewildered on that first fastball I knew it was over.

No doubt. When you have the worst manager possible, good decisions by other managers are magnified.

I’d have had no problem with him using Mike there against that velo and needing contact, but Chas has earned the opportunity to take that at bat I guess Cano is just gross.

They’ve got to find a way to get Press into more ballgames I know he hasn’t been as good this year but it feels like his blowups come when he’s sat for an extended period of time and he loses feel for the spin. Only his 4th outing this month. Not trying to make excuses for his shittiness because he’s a professional and HAS to do his job in that spot but just seems like a trend that he really blows up if he sits for a while.

His outings need to come in lower leverage for the rest of the regular season. Abreu and Neris need to finish games now.

Abreu knocks the shite out of the ball before Tucker has 2-0 and 3-1 and couldn't get the ball out of the infield on two grooved pitches.

And that barely registers on the shite scale compared to Montero and Pressly going full retard.

Absolutely I had that thought but forgot to type it out.

He can’t get the ball in the ninth inning anymore.

I find comfort in the thought that if this September collapse costs us the playoffs, there won't be any question that we force this dipshit out the door.

Maybe Crane will find his nuts again and realize he values winning baseball over "hey man that's the way it used to be" baseball

And his AB earlier when he popped out to shallow CF

He is also the lowest rated OF in runs saved on the team, even before giving up another one tonight by misplaying Henderson’s double

He’s earned more than the benefit of the doubt with his production this year, but not worthy of the largest contract in Astros history

Better get behind guys like Altuve and Alvarez, who have really proven themselves, esp when it counts

You wouldn't think so. But take a moment to realize you're saying a veteran on Dusty Bakers team should lose his job.

The older I get, the less I get upset about my sports teams losing games.... But man, the Astros just piss me off with the bullshite they come up with to lose.

They’ve also had some improbable wins too

But the extra innings record speaks to the piss poor management more than anything

I still don’t understand why in the world Neris didn’t pitch the 7th, then Abreu, then Bag O Dicks. Instead Montero coughs up the lead. Questioned this the other night…what is wrong with Abreu? Only threw 10P yesterday and it had been 4 days since his last appearance.

He got hit with the line drive yesterday. Before that is likely just being managed by an elderly moron

Abreu was unavailable. Took a come backer to the elbow yesterday, had x-rays. Negative but not available to pitch today.

Thanks to you and Hoohoo for the update. I was keeping up online yesterday and didn’t realize.

Which explains why John Phillip Souza and Joel Kuhnel were used in late inning tight games Friday and Saturday. Outstanding work Dusty.
