Now Reddick went with that pitch though

Not sure how Correa missed that 2-0 pitch
You know he's not right yet

Was just going to say that. He had a 2-0 91mph fastball right down the heart of the plate and barely got wood on it. He is definitely not back yet.

Gurriel shows his defensive liabilities a little too much for as many reps as he has now.
Why would he try to scoop that? Block it up when there's no play to be made.
He has done better than expected on low throws from infielders though, generally speaking

Yeah you have to keep that guy from going to 2nd and getting in scoring position. It was a terrible pick off attempt by Dallas though. Could have cost him a cheap run. Segura hit a bullet but fortunately it was right to altuve.
Meanwhile, it seems like altuve correa and bregman are having a hard time with that 2-seam inside fastball. They want to rip it to left. I think of the 5 or 6 pitches they've swung at like that maybe that last one to bregman was a strike.

Heck of an inning by Dallas there. Vintage Keuchel

About as efficient as it gets. Hope he gets through at least the next 2 innings in a similar fashion.

That a baby George. That 0-2 pitch to him was the one alfuve, correa and bregman can't seem to let go.

I like seeing Springer go the other way, but that wasn't a textbook swing w back foot sliding a couple feet.

Hopefully George is getting right.
That 3-0 pitch to Reddick. ridiculous

No, but this team has so much more success when they look to go opposite field. Especially at home. I know I've mentioned it twice but you look at altuve, correa and bregman and see their eyes get big wanting to crush that inside pitch to the Crawford boxes. I definitely think those seats effect our run production at home and not in a good way.
Going back to that reddick at bat. Why do umpires have to give guys strikes on 3-0 that would not be strikes at any other time?

Not vintage keuchel this inning.

Cmon blue! That pitch was better than the 3-0 to reddick.

Member when Keuchel could go through a whole start without losing it for an inning?
Posted on 9/16/17 at 1:39 pm to High C
He's become Charlie Morton getting into trouble in the 5th/6th innings.
