The curse is alive and well. I guess we can expect no better than .500 the rest of the year. I hope it's enough to hold on to the division

Just as well. Battery down to 17%. We'll try again tomorrow.

I find myself watching the top minor leaguers nightly as much now as when we were bad. I cannot wait for the true finished product.

Shits really starting to piss me off. How can you get to a certain high water mark and lose every single fricking time you get there? You'd think the assholes would luck into one but nope. They continue to find ways to lose. Just unreal.

Well don't expect us to score tomorrow. Kazmir is pitching.

We had a golden opportunity to break the curse tonight and did just about everything we could to keep it going. Velasquez was serviceable but he still gave up 3 runs although 1 was feldmans. Neshek is no longer reliable. It's gotten to where I cringe every time that lollipop pitch gets spun up there. And the lack of patience in certain situations was putrid tonight. Throw in terrible coaching decions to put in conger and valbuena and it makes for a disappointing night.

This had everything you need to get pissed off. One of the more irritating losses I've watched this year.

~5 walks from the starter
~pitchers shitting themselves every time the offense got back in it
~Home run prone Neshek
~That a-hole LoMo continuing to only hit home runs against 1 team (us)
~3 strikeouts with a leadoff man on 3rd
~AJ pulling a Bo Porter because MATCHUPS!
~ 0-6 at 14 games above .500

Yep just about sums it up. You know. Hinch has been keeping this team on even keel all year. But I'd actually like to see more fire during the game. We look like we're going through the motions sometimes.

I mean realistically we can't sweep every series. But we're fresh off losing 2/3 to a Twins team that's hovering right around .500. So we come back home where we've been great, we've got a team 10 games below .500. Take advantage!!

Feldman was bad/injured tonight but he left us in a position to come back. We did crawl back in it a couple times and then the pitching let us down. Just finding ways to lose. Its September and we're in a playoff race. This team needs to act like it. Step on the necks of these shitty teams when you've got them on the ropes. Thats what good teams do.
