And that mascot, good gawd. Who was the brain behind that idea? I took my grandson to Thursday's game and he said what the hell is that. Bring back the bunny or whatever the hell it was. How about a armadillo? You want something that reps toughness, armadillo is your animal/mascot.

That's actually true. I'm just focused on our team. If we are fully healthy and clicking on all cylinders come playoff time I like our chances against anyone.

I think one huge correlation to our winning and losing streaks this year is our bullpen. April and May those guys were lights out. Not as much in June and really struggled leading up to the all star break. Other than Neshek Friday night and Gregerson with a big lead against Anaheim that he ended up holding onto, our bullpen has been brilliant since the ASG (Sipp doesn't count cause he's blacklisted in my mind)
On that note, maybe we keep Sipp and Carter around cause they're our only black guys currently

Dude needs to train with LaTroy Hawkins and Jamie Moyer and try again next year. Will have to put wearing my custom-made, recently ordered Cormier #37 Astros shirsey on hold.
