Gomez to sit day after defensive lapses

Respect for taking ownership. Wish the manager did. You will never hear hunch accept blame for a damn thing.

I agree. Hunch has blown a few games himself. Not to mention some questionable starting line ups, like when a guy gets a hit then sits, or playing two catchers, leaving pitchers in too long, etc.

Why doesn't he just come out and talk like a cocky prick so I can really hate him?

He said the right thing, but probably doesn't mean it so you can hate him. The kudos are for being man enough to at least say it.

On the surface he doesn't seem like bad player, but I can't tolerate his swing when he screws himself into the ground and loses his helmet. I absolutely hate that swing.

How many times have you been yelled at, and how many times have you yelled at a player, stop pulling your head out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got it pretty quick, some take more time then get it, some just won't listen and will never hit the ball. Makes my blood boil and it's embarrassing every single time he does it.

I hope i never see it again.

Anyone watching the El Yuli presser? He said he's been practicing 3b and lf.

Says the difference in pitching here in the states is higher velocity.

I'm not worried about Yasmani Granderson. I don't think Hudgens is bilingual.

More El yuli..

Says it would be a dream to play with his brother here...says he has been with him his whole career and dreams of continuing that.

Also said altuve and gomez have been in steady contact with him since he signed.

Says he works hard to stay in great shape. Wants to play a long long time.

Sho would be funny if he ended up taking Gomez's roster spot.

Makes sense until you remember all our rookies have hit like shite this season. But if we're getting the young guys reps for next year, why the hell not?

I could see gomez getting released on September 1. I think Rasmus will DL the rest of the season.

Not sure they really see Teo as a real prospect for next year but they should absolutely give him abs.they are out of it no matter what they say.

Sad when we assume they won't hit once called. Not worried about that. Bring him up

It's been a disturbing trend this year.

I would think they definitely do. He made massive changes at the plate to great results, and he's a 5-tool player.

I don't expect Yuli to flat out rake when he comes up this year but given a whole off season he will at least be a average to above avg hitter.he doesn't try to hit Homers which is a big plus.
