And we're bitching at the base running but the starting pitching is losing games for us.

Let's be real...it's the whole fricking team. Miguel Gonzales pitched 8 innings of 1 run ball against us. We scored 8 runs that entire series. GiLes blew the only chance we had to win a game this week. Offense got shut out until the 8th inning last night.

This suck is a total team effort.

I've said since the beginning of the season that pitching was our weakest area. We literally don't have the talent on the mound.

Maybe we don't have the intelligence to effectively run the bases.

Jesus Christ this team. Can't baserun. Can't pitch. Can't hold runners. Can't play consistent defense. And now, when we haven't talked about it much, we have to add idiot coaching at third base back into the equation. I'm sick of the breakdowns. If it's not one thing it's another. This is not a playoff team. I don't care how good offensively they are.,there's more to baseball than hitting.

LIVE PD on commercial. If Ross can throw a strike I'd like to order up a Springer dinger here.

Hoohoo, yes. It's a complete team failure right now, but the offense is showing a little life again. But how can they win games with the pitching getting worse.? Every game seems to start 3 or 4 to nothing before we can even settle in. This staff would know a quality start if it hit them in the face.

Man the team looks so flat and defeated. Just going through the motions like they are resigned to their fate

I never said how much, haha. A little. I guess it's better than going into the 8th with no runs down 6. But with this pitching staff they'll need to show a lot more.

Taking a look a Luhnow's deadline history, we're probably better off that he didn't put any more of his brilliance on display.

Kazmir
Gomez
Fiers
Liriano

Ok I just saw all I needed to see from Liriano.

Strommie came out to pep talk him and Liriano tried to give him the ball.

Get off the fricking field

Anyone ever see one of those shows or a movie where there's a dead whale floating in the ocean and there's sharks taking turns biting huge chunks of flesh out until there's just a carcass left?...we're the whale.
