I, for one, am glad his career move to the NFL did not go well.

Can't wait to see how McHugh looks. If he looks good then we will have some decisions to make in the rotation particularly if we get a sonny gray.

Keuchel/McCullers/Gray/McHugh/Fiers?

Put peacock in his fireman role or with his strikeout ability he could be put in the back end. Put Morton on the back end with 95-96 mph sinkers.

Frankly (assuming Colin looks good) the only concern with regard to the current rotation is purely health and really make is questionable to even trade for a starter or just push all the chips in on relievers

@jonmorosi
#Astros scouted Yu Darvish's start last night, sources say. Team is tracking all major rotation trade candidates. @MLBNetwork @MLB

Am I the only one that is fine with dealing for Yu as long as the price is fair? He should be less than Gray being a rental and is obviously great when healthy, which he is right now

Not a huge fan of it. It wouldn't be a cheap package. He's 100% gone after 2017 and we'd be restocking the Rangers farm we might see 20 times a year.

If it's Gray or Darvish the A's are in our division as well and won't be bad forever, so I don't see that as an issue really. If the price for Darvish is the same or more than Gray then I agree, I would rather have Gray for the control. But I am not opposed at all to trading for Darvish, I think he's a better pitcher than Gray straight up as far as contending this year.

Would you give them Fisher, Comer and a GCL lotto ticket for Darvish? Would that even be enough?

According to MLB Radio experts, Darvish costs you one top notch prospect and others. Gray costs you more due to control.

So let's say it Franklin Perez, Deetz and Jason Martin for Darvish.

Gray would cost you a lesser headliner (according to them) but more quality.
