Support. Would love to see a sweep of the tPOS royals.

I wonder if the brass is considering a SP call up in the second half. Martes has been very good lately. Musgrove throws strikes. If we keep winning we are going to need some playoff caliber arms to start.

Looks like bregman is probably heading to Fresno after the all star game for AA and possibly teoscar.

Having the series win already locked up sweep would be gravy, just keep swinging the bats. I agree with Ryno, hopefully we can give Musgrove or Rodgers a chance here fairly soon. Fiers is frustrating to watch. I don't think Martes is quite ready yet though. Paulino was placed on the "temporarily inactive list" due to a suspension for breaking a team rule. Luhnow said it wasn't a huge deal but it keeps him from pitching which sucks.

I'm sure they don't mind limiting Paulino's innings a bit thanks to the suspension. He must have missed a meeting or bus time (some minor BS).

Martes definitely has to be behind Paulino, Musgrove and Rodgers in the opportunity order.

A sweep isn't "icing on the cake" when your ace is going. It's expected

Don't be so sure about Martes' place in order.

This year? I mean, I know he has super talent but it's hard to see him get his chance before Musgrove or Paulino, two guys on the 40 man roster.

I would rather take it a little slower with Martes because of his potential and how raw he still is. Musgrove should get the first crack at replacing Fiers I think

Liking the lineup right now. We're hitting thr shite out of the ball. Hopefully Reed has a great game and we beat the Royals again for the sweep.

We've seen that move work before. I am more impressed with the Marwin to No. 2 move. It's made him a better hitter, surrounding him with talent.

@jakemkaplan
Kauffman Stadium grounds crew rolling the tarp on the field. A chance of rain today for Astros-Royals.
