We need our starters to go much longer. Lance can't go 5.1 innings. I worry our already worrysome bullpen will get completely gassed

Yea he only had 76 pitches. Normally would have gone 7 if he wasn't just coming back

Probably just a normal off day for Reddick as well, I don't think Hinch is sitting around saying "yeah Jake is definitely better against LHP."

(When healthy) Reddick has been on the bench for at least the last 6 games started by left handed pitchers. Could be more, but I don't really feel like digging further into it than that.

Didn't even think about that. I pretty much hate Gattis catching the young guys. 
If Beltran wasn't "Experienced veteran/mentor Carlos Beltran", I'd be fine parting ways with him, making Gattis the DH and bring up a more natural/better defensive catcher to backup McCann.

If Beltran stays hitting at Bregman level, I could live w that move, calling up Centeno.
But we know that isn't gonna happen, and I expect Beltran's avg to rise second half anyway.
