Ensberg has a huge man crush on Aplin (more so than all our other minor leaguers)

Efficiency is the key for Lance today, along with not pitching to Pujols. Work the zone, move his pitches around, don't be afraid to go inside

Aplin was a good looking prospect in that Correa draft. He's ascended the ranks Quickly.

Exactly. Run that heat in on these guys and saw some bats off.

And slider Pujols to death

Just going to leave this here

Conger is having a really nice year. .232/.330/.427 for a 114 wRC+ as a backup catcher

How about a round of applause for Chris Carter who is on pace to break his own strikeout record.

A record currently held by, you guessed it...Chris Carter.

And the funny thing is, he's taking better at bats and working counts this year. Proof that the guy is just not a good hitter.

Yea I would guess reed is only there because they are trying to find what to do with Gregor.

Or that they've started talking trade with a team and they don't want to take a chance of bumping him up and have him struggle before the deal is done.

Anybody notice that Valbuena has kinda cooled it with the bat flip?

You serious Clark?

Did you not see his flip after his Pujols like stare at his home run?

I only saw the second one (poker night), but it seemed much less demonstrative unless the beer fuzz lied to me.

Anyone have any interesting articles or stories to share about Andrew Aplin?

Seeing a bunch of stuff from around draft time in 2012 but nothing new.

Wish I didn't have to wait for blackout to clear so I could participate here more. Gonna watch today's game late tonight. Glad to see correa bombed another one last night.
