I'll be there to watch Keuchel. Bringing my little girl to her first game. I'm sure she's more interested in the popcorn and ice cream, but hey..it's just going to be her and I.

We have to be approaching an MLB record, or something.

Valbuena sounds like he just said 'fricking' twice in this interview.

Who gets DFA when Correa gets called up?

Gattis according to this thread a month ago

@brianmctaggart: Evan Gattis: 239, 12 homers, 36 RBIs. He's on a pace to hit 36 homers and drive in more than 100 runs.

I'm beginning to think Singleton may be part of any significant trade. You really won't know what you have until you throw him out there every day, but the Astros can't do that at the moment unless there is a trade partner that believes in Carter as much as they do. Singleton has upside and a favorable contract so he could be a significant piece, and maybe you tread water with Carter until Reed is ready?

Very big win last night. Needed to see the bats break out even if it was for just one inning. We still have some very bad hitters playing every day Maris nick has become a black hole. Val Buena still isn't a good hitter and the SS position is replacement level or below. Yet we are treading water. Also with a shaky rotation it will be big if this team can just duplicate the may record or even just play .500 till the break.

Will be interesting to see what happens with any moves to help the rotation both short and long term. I think they will give straily a chance in June to see if he can pitch at this level again and then go after a solid 2 or 3 guy in a trade in July.

Good to see Gattis start to be a big threat...he has clearly cleaned up his plate discipline and has learned to take some singles the other way...he was as bad as could be in April but hopefully this is who he is....

Why does he have to be traded? He can't play in AAA any longer? He's still only 23, he has time to make an impact in the bigs whether it be this year or sometime in the future.
