Fully expect Harris, Gregerson, and Giles get some rest tonight.

Time to give Devenski and Feliz some time. I'll be there tonight.

Anyone feel like McCann has a little Jack Parkman in him?

We will see how the young guys do with a season under their belt, but Devo and Feliz have the potential to be better than those 3. A bunch of right handers in the pen, but they're some pretty solid arms.

To reason to rule Harris out, he only pitched yesterday. Giles and Gregs will probably rest today though.

Yeah, I assume Harris would be the defacto 9th inning guy tonight in a save situation.

I think Hunch is trying to see how long he can get into the season before he has to use Sipp.

Marisnick starting and Reddick starting vs a lefty. Hinch paying homage to 2016 with that bottom of the lineup.

Based on what I'm sure was discussed when he was signed, you have to let Reddick play his way out of starts against lefties.

Garrett Stubbs was on the Effectively Wild podcast the other day for anyone interested. Pretty solid interview.

His last 5 years against lefties. To be fair, that's basically the overall averages of the guys we replaced from last year. But Reddick's not very good against southpaws.

Who cares about average against lefties... We just need to hope he has impressive Statcast numbers on the home runs he hits.

@jakemkaplan 1m1 minute ago More Doesn't sound like Hinch will use Giles or Gregerson for a third straight game tonight. He may use Will Harris in the 9th if needed.

I guess this is logical since Harris has been the closer before. I'd kind of like to see Michael Feliz in that role.

Feliz and Devo can handle the 7th and 8th for now. Next year I can absolutely see Feliz becoming the 8th inning guy if we don't re-sign Gregerson.

Feliz has closers stuff. 13.2 K/9 last year. He had a stretch of appearances last year where he was flat out nasty

16 games from May 2nd to June 17

25.1 IP 7 hits 2ER 35K/4BB .71 ERA .086 BAA

If we do let Gregs go and Feliz continues to develop, He and Giles could be a nasty 8/9 combo.
