I'd be fuming at that non strike 3 call by the ump if I was a Detroit fan

Eta: that's an example of the kind of breaks we haven't been catching the first 10 games

If we don't put up a number with the bases juiced for the second straight inning against this guy, I'm going to have to turn on something else.

With nobody out too. Need at least a couple runs here to keep him on ease.

We are getting the benefit tonight. The kid has gotten some generous calls and Pelfrey getting squeezed on a couple

Typical Springer. Knowing us, we'll probably get a double play now.

Deep fly ball. Just hit a fly ball.
Have to get at least one run out of this

Thats the difference between a good team and a bad one... And right now we are just downright pitiful

Good teams take advantage of that, we of course do not. Those are the exact signs that we are struggling. Big time.

0 runs. 1st inning Gattis struck ouy, Gomez grounded out to end the inning.

2nd inning, Springer struck out, Correa GIDP.

fricking awful.

The guy on the broadcast on Upton's base hit said Springer was battling the lights in RF. Again. Like why is this still a fricking problem for Springer?

WTF is up with the lights, I've heard this excuse for 4 straight games. Adapt, get over it, do something

They changed the lights to LED lights. Apparently it makes it hard to see the ball.

Rewind your DVR when Keuchel came off the mount... he was shaking his head looking pissed, pointed up and said "...it's those fricking lights..."

I think it's not necessarily a just Springer problem. I can't think of many balls the Astros have hit that were similar for the Royals OF

They need to get a pitching machine and set it up where the angle shoots the ball low enough where they'd get lost in the lights and let Springer practice

FWIW, I went to the Mil exhibition and came away with a tan. I definitely mentioned it in the DAT that day.

They have turned some of them off, but it's still too damn bright.
