I mean the decision doesn't come out as good or bad until we know what Clifford or Gilbert are at the big league level.

I didn't mind the decision at the time because it was necessary and prospects are so fickle there are very few that I would throw a stink about and I liked both Gilbert and Clifford.

They got JV he pitched well down the stretch and was fine in the post until Adolis homer. He got bailed out in that game and the Astros needed to win ONE out of two home games to advance to a World Series where they would be huge favorites. If you would have told anyone here that would be the scenario when the trade was made people would be over the moon with it. Just absolutely shitty results after they put themselves in a favorable spot

You know what's awesome? By the time you get to a chance to turn on the game and see we're down by 9 and you're not even surprised.

It just hit me that the team slogan is "relentless"

Yeah thats how I'd describe them. No quit in this bunch.

Oh I agree there, but that’s why I qualified it with “regardless of reason.” The rest of the team needed to do their part and they didn’t. Wasn’t JV’s fault at all, but they shite the bed so hard in August/September against their worst opponents and they needed a bigger bed shitting by the Rangers and Mariners to even make the postseason.

That's a great point too about how the regular season ended I truly forget how weird that was

1/7 with RISP lol Bregman missed cockshot fastball easy popup. Just absolutely horrendous

Oh yea Tucker is garbage too

Bagwell is already in Cranes office lobbying for an interim manager. Any guesses who he's got in mind?

Would Ausmus quit as the Yankees bench coach mid-season? He and Biggio as co-managers?

Altuve hitting .358 on the year but 0/9 with RISP is the perfect summary of our season isn't it?

That's crazy but makes sense. Really ruining really damn good starts to the season by him and Yordan.

Would have been cool to get a knock from Tucker to put game pressure on them, but probably for the best to not get too back into this game and waste whatever bullpen bullets they got back there.

RISP was a problem at home last year. Now, it’s a disaster everywhere.

That Mizzou fan can come back and thank the Astros, they are really letting Pasquantino get going. Eight RBI the last two days.

That guy in the Bigfoot suit who only comes out when Pasquale does something is who's really thanking us. Guy had been collecting cobwebs behind that door until the Astros got to town.

2-12 with RISP. And one of those hits didn't score a run.

With two innings still to play in this series, this bullshite team is 9-43 with RISP, and at least 3 of those hits off the top of my head didn't score a run.

34 runners left on base!!!!

Royals are 14-32 with 20 LOB.
