I hope Espada doesn’t channel Dusty again in this game

Had no issues with any of Espada’s moves yesterday besides pinch hitting Singleton, which was really horrible to be fair



As far as bullpen choices without Abreu available, he’s just going to be rolling the dice picking from a pile of shite every game so nothing he can really do there

My only issue was Singleton instead of Dubon there, and then if Singleton isn’t going to put a competitive at bat together and grind then it just amplifies it. If he’s going to be impatient and shitty get him off the roster now.

Thought the pitching moves were fine. Martinez has been the “fireman” in the past and unfortunately he’s the best they got there. The move to Press in the 7th against the best part of their order was also correct, just didn’t execute. Nice Astros debut for Scott in the 8th against the top of their lineup.

Oh well, lineup is going to have to carry it and put games away with the state of the middle of the bullpen. Excited to be at the game again today!!
