Let’s work out something with the White Sox. Get him back to his whisperer

Who do they have that we want?

Remember for the last 2 years the glaring need has been starting pitching and we have signed nobody. Cost us WS last year and top 2 organizational prospects.

You mean the last two years in which they won the World Series on the back of the starting pitching one year and the next they shite the bed and didn't score runs in their home ball park? Yea those two years totally on the starting pitching.

I would say our most glaring need has been run production at home in the playoffs

We had/have better starting pitching than the Rangers. At least on par with them.

I expect Framber to have a good year with a contract on the line, and if not, we don’t get stuck with one. Javier and Brown need to be better

Ultimately, everyone could use another solid starter

Right so game 7 of the ALCS where the offense dumped it's pants at home and no one knows how this season will play out yet.

If they had enough pitching last year they wouldn't have had to dump their 2 best offensive prospects to get back Verlander.

Game 6 they went 1-8 with RISP in a one run game into the 8th before white flagging it with Montero and Stanek. ETA: Abreu gave up a run in the 8th so it was a two run game going bottom 8 where the two bad results with the bases loaded happened with Singleton and Dubon

Game 7 was shitty Javi for sure but another 2-14 night with RISP

Well I thought you wanted them to address the lack of starting pitching. You can't do that without giving something up

If JV didn’t show up, I’d be rt there with you, but he did

I had my doubts, and still feel like we will likely end up regretting the move

But in so far as it relates to last year’s run, it was necessary and it didn’t pay off regardless
