We'll be crappy, very crappy but I'll go on record right now saying that we won't lose 100 games this year. It'll be close but we'll hold it off.

Chris Carter hits at least 35 homeruns, book it

At least batting practice will be fun to watch Carter, Pena, Maxwell and Ankiel go at it when they start launching them.

I searched for that image to put in my OP, but I couldn't find it.

Agreed. Posted that yesterday.

If they lose less than 100 games, I'll be happy with the season because it's a step in the right direction. Just a sign that Luhnow's plan will start coming together better each year.

To add:

If they do get to the 100 loss mark, I think it'll be because of the bullpen.

I say 92-94 losses.

That's a 20 game swing. ...and much less than what the pundits are predicting.

Yes, yes they will. Read that starting lineup one more time. Slowly.

Possibly. We'll be a better offensive club, but personally, I think our rotation sucks. Bud and Harrell are dependable but everyone else is a HUGE wild card.

You've gotta look at it optimistically.

Carter, Maxwell and Dominguez were big time prospects in their former organizations. Top 10 guys within their respective clubs. If they come around and you get production from Wallace and F Mart, they could get in under that 100 Loss clip.

I think it might be more a product of being in the American League this year for the Stros. They are going to struggle in their new division. If they were in the NL, they might be able to sneak under 100, but I don't think they will in the AL.

I agree, but Humber seems to have found something this spring. I understand it's just spring ball, but it's something positive to see.

It may be the worst opening day team ever fielded.

I would be ecstatic with a 67-95 record.
