Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has been forced to withdraw from his Dec. 10 title fight against Anthony Johnson due to an injury, MMA Fighting has confirmed with multiple sources. The promotion is currently working on a new headliner, however, nothing is finalized just yet. The plan, as of right now, is to keep Johnson on the card.

Because he fought a rumble with poor stamina and no ground game.

Have you seen Rumble after that fight? Way better stamina. He knows when to choose his moments, accurate counter punching and better take down defense. Cormier didn't want it.

Rumble could have easily boxed his way to a win. Cormier stood no chance standing up. If he didn't rush to finish it and decided to keep tagging him at range, it was over. Cormier couldn't keep taking those shots . Same reason how Gus almost beat him, but you saw what Rumble did to Gus

You really think Cormier is scared?

ETA: And lol talking about Rumble's "way better" stamina after that fight. KO at 0:28 in the 2nd. KO at 1:26 in the 1st. KO at 0:13 in the 1st. Where you seeing this improved stamina at?

You're acting like they fought 5 years ago and they're completely different fighters.

You don't know what the F you're talking about.
