Yep and in the 80's it was common for the guys in the nwa territories to wrestle twice a day.
When you hear ric flair's stories it is amazing that he has lived this long.

I would've loved to have been a star wrestler in the 80s. Passing out every night surrounded by piles of cocaine and ring rats.
All these wrestlers today go back to their hotel rooms to play video games.

Not all workers in the 1980s and 1990s were into coke and drugs and not all played with ring rats. The ones who still look decent today and can talk are the ones who didn't go crazy.
In some ways there were no different than football and baseball players in that time and no different than the steroid users in baseball and football at the time.
You can easily find baseball and football players who did just as much with drugs and girls as wrestlers and you can find wrestlers who didn't abuse those things like baseball and football players.

Can't blame Dana for being cocky at this point. He's fooling people into thinking Rousey is a main event attraction.
Sure she's good but she's fighting people with a fraction of her experience. Don't know why her destroying them is some amazing thing to see. It's not like Tyson back in the 80s obliterating experienced champions.
Even if there was someone that could match up with her White wouldn't let it happen.

I can't remember it all verbatim. But Vince calls sheik and tells him sheik I have some bad news. Vince tells him his drug test was positive.
Sheik then says something along the lines of yes, positive is good, I passed.
Then Vince says kos positive is not good and explains it to him. Sheik then tells him well what about don muraco? He passed. What about hacksaw Jim duggan? He passed.
There is also the story of sheik hiding weed in his boot when he was riding with the free birds and Michael ps Hayes wife. The dea stops the car then lets them go after the dea sees Hayes license. Hayes forgets it then the dea pulls them over again and returns his license. Hayes was on probation for a DUI and his license was suspended I think.
