It will all come down to who gets cut and if an experienced guy is there. Everyone wants to sign an experienced back up and have Dak as No. 3 so he doesn't possibly get thrown out there too soon and not do well and then shatter his confidence.

If Dakota comes in I don't see him being that weak minded. He has been a leader and motivator everywhere he has been. It's not like he never saw adversity in College. Yet he was always on the sidelines rallying the troops and this coming from an LSU fan.

The media guys have never said he's shite in practice, at least from what I've heard and I listem pretty much 8-5 every day.

The just say there's a reason why everyone in the NFL passed on him and he was drafted where he was. Now that doesn't mean you cant get a steal who is a 'gamer', but you know how proud the NFL people are about their talent reading abilities.

It's also possible that Dak is one of those "gamer" types that looks like shite in practice but just gets going once the lights are on and live bullets are flying, which would explain the media guys saying he's shite while he's killing itin games

His release is all over the place. He needs serious work on his technique or he'll run into the same problems as Tebow

This hasn't been 'Jerry's' Cowboys since Stephen took the Manziel draft card out of his hand.

They don't just bend to his every will like they used to.

Well how many NFL playoff games has Dak won?

ETA: I'm a die hard Cowboys fan, but this hype needs to slow down.

Yeah they are playing their starters into the 3rd. A lot of teams do this in order to practice for coming out of halftime like a normal game

1.) that's a dumb argument

2.) I'm talking mechanically.

Tebow struggled throwing 7 yard curls

Apparently he's a pro bowler before the first game.

Note I didn't say Tebow was a better passer than him, I said he will run into similar problems as him if he doesn't clean up his release and form

I hope like hell this D is in the same stratosphere as that D Tebow had. If that's the case they would win at least one this year. lol

I had to Google it. The answer is zero. He was drafted this year so technically he hasn't won an NFL game yet. You make a hell of a point.

I just have learned to not get hyped on NFL guys, especially young QB's in Dallas.

I mean I get it to an extent, because he is from LA and I know a lot of people are pulling for him, but from someone who just sees him as a guy we drafted, it's exciting to see him playing well, but I'm keeping my hopes very realistic.

Dak has an NFL arm with sketchy mechanics, Tebow never had an NFL arm AND had terrible mechanics

Lol and you think saying he's miles passed Tebow before he even starts an actual NFL game isn't a dumb argument?

For all you know Dak never starts an actual game.

As a passer, he's better than Tebow already

That's not much of an accomplishment, pretty much every QB out there is a better passer than Tebow
