Wow, good for him. I was the leader of the train saying this dude is a clown, but if you still think Dabo hasn't done a great job building this program you're just lying to yourself.

That was ESPN reporter David Hale that asked the question BTW.

Question is wether he builds an Empire at Clemson or moves on to a more prestigous school.

I think it's prob 55-45 that he'd take the Bama job if offered after Clemson, but he won't leave Clemson for anyone else.

Good, I hope they don't come calling.

Outside of 2-3 coaches they could do a helluva lot worse than a young coach who's an incredible recruiter, has proven he can sustain a consistently elite level of play, and is a phenomenal hirer of coaches (his most underrated attribute IMO).

I'm not a Dabo fan by any means, but I respect the way he handled that question. He answered it, he backed up his point with facts, and even though he hated the question and was very passionate about it, he didn't belittle the reporter. Good job, Dabo.

This is all Tommy Bowden's fault.

maybe he will have won a championship by the time Saban is gone.

ACC is basically a 2 team league. Would expect better showings from an elite coach.

Where would you rank Dabo in the nation as a head coach?

A bit low for me but ok.

But when you factor in age (Spurrier and Snyder if they're on your list) and unreasonable candidates (Harbaugh, Meyer and Miles assuming they're on your list), can you name 5 coaches you'd take over Dabo if you're Bama?

I'm not sure you know what elite is

And that's not a knock on clempson, they've been a good program for a while but they are not elite
