See my earlier post on this topic. They did not play well last year. Bottom 5 pass protection.

I saw it. I also watched every bears game last year. It was a pretty good oline.

Those stats say the exact opposite of "pretty good", but I guess you have to trust your eyes.

Just started going back and looking at the line's individual scores, and holy shite what happened to Bushrod against St. Louis? That's the lowest score I've ever seen. I have to go watch that game.

There is no rhythm to the Bears offense. A running game would help out and some semblance of a defense. Cutler is bad because he is under pressure and has no help. He is playing bad but I'm going after the coach.

Ive seen bad olines in chicago. Cutler played a few seasons behind the biggest piles of shite ive
seen his first seasons. But he sets his line up to fail more than any qb in the league.

Injuries and dips in form have hurt this year, for sure, but if cutler is a qb who can only truly thrive behind an elite oline, which prob isnt true anyway, then hes fairly worthless to 90% of teams.

Guy needs to have his eyes checked.

The problems in Chicago are obvious: offensive line and defense. Both suck.

He threw for 4500 yards and made the Pro Bowl in his second full year as a starter in Denver. He can succeed in the right environment. Of course, this is assuming he hasn't regressed mentally so muchfrom the Chicago debacle that he can't recover.

I think this has a lot to do with it. Cutler is so used to having the defense on him at the snap that any little thing feeling off throws him off. He doesn't help himself much though by holding the ball so low and always stepping back in the pocket.

One thing that is overlooked on this team is the health of Jefferies and Marshall. They both have struggled with nagging injuries all year. Bennett has been a drop machine in their absence, and Forte has been covering for the below average line in pass protection.

And any OC who is the anonymous source for an article burying the starting QB clearly has an agenda. The offense which worked to at least put up big scores last year has been figured out. The in-game adjustments are essentially non-existant.

You have a gunslinger QB with a worse than expected line on an offense with dinged up weapons trying to keep pace with teams who run up and down the field on their defense. Well, no shite it hasn't gone well.
