No, but I know a lot of the kids personally and as far as the starters, trash talk isn't there thing.

I'm not worried about what fans say. The drunk guy yelling stupidity on Bourbon isn't a reflection of me as a Saints fan. As far as coaches, I'd like to hear which ones said something and what.

Going to agree with this as well.

I coached against Curtis and they didn't do any trash talking. Just a well disciplined, well coached team that played exceptionally well.

Found the coaches pretty gracious as well.

Will they play in the Catholic League or public district?

I hope they play in the Catholic League. I'm sort of sick of Rummel and Jesuit thinking they are good with their mythical state championships.

They also lost to one of the worst St. Aug teams in years.

Rummel won a legit 5A title in 2012 and beat a pretty good Byrd team in the waning seconds in 2013.

That Jesuit team last year that won it probably would have won it all in the old 5A. They got hot at the right time.

too bad they couldnt play in 2A or 4A with 5A talent all those years. Cause those state championships are really "legit"

I am personally glad that the Catholic League is starting to challenge Curtis for players and prestige. I think it makes for some really fun football. I just wish 5A was still all together. That'd be awesome for LHSAA football.

The Catholic League has always had players if they wanted them. Hank went and found for over a decade. Also, not sure what you mean by prestige. People in NOLA have been dumping on Curtis for over 30 years. Catholic League is the darling child of the city.

I mean the fame and notority that comes with winning championships, which the Catholic league hasn't done consistently like in 40 years

Id argue the prestige of the catholic league was higher either way. Im not saying that it is right, but just how it is.

You would say that the Catholic League has more prestige in AND out of state that Curtis? I would disagree.

look what games fill the stadiums... I can say with confidence that a Catholic League district game will NEVER be played at Muss Bertolino. Curtis will have to use Yenni or Gormley if they play in the CL

Could that be because a lot of Catholic league schools have 3x the number of kids as JC?
