GTFO with this jinxing shite Yankees could easily be up 2-0 right now, I think both series are far from over although I would love to be wrong

I think Frozen Caveman Third Baseman was my favorite Dodger but if he wasn't he is now.

Cubs look like absolute dog shite. KB, Rizzo, Wilson need to get their shite together.

Absolutely, lot's of non-competitive at bats by those 3. Pitchers for Dodgers are good enough they don't need help from those 3 swinging at balls like Baez.

I also think for the second game in a row, Joe did not give the Cubs their best chance to win, which is his job as manager. He got away with that shite last year but his team doesn't look like they are going to bail him out this year like they did then.

First of all Duensing should have been allowed to finish the inning. Righty-Righty don't explain it to me, Duensing is better vs. righties than lefties anyway statistically and was competing like a mother.

But if you do.... Davis is the only choice. He had two days rest and he was just left to watch...wasted waiting for the Cubs to get a lead that they never got a chance to provide.

And Home run Lacky of all people. After he walked the leadoff guy my buddy and I both agreed that there should be no ball in the strike zone to Turner. Don't let their best hitter beat you. Geez so frustrating.

As much as I want to hate Justin Turner, he got a fastball right down Broadway and put it into orbit. Cant really hate him for that.

If it was something like a low and away slider that he just threw the bat towards and blooped in the game winner, that would be different

He’s annoying, but nowhere near the hatred level of Daniel Murphy.

Maddon is a good manager but seems he's talking the hip cool celebrity act a little too far.

Maddon is an above average manager, he isnt good.

Look at the team he has, and they were one of the worst teams entering the playoffs.

With that being said, id take him over matheny any time.

well that's not true

hes done a lot to move the game forward in regards to in game managing. he just has a tendency to overmanage and overthink sometimes. it bit him in the arse last night with some weird decisions, but hes far from just an "above average but not good manager"

The needed him for the save argument last night was something Bobby valentine or buck Showalter would have come up with regarding not Using Davis.

yea it was confusing. and its not like hes one of those guys who still fights the losing fight over defined bullpen roles. he just had davis on a strict one inning limit last night even though he had two days rest and was getting another day of rest today. that wasn't the only weird thing of the night but definitely one that sticks out

well then, agree to disagree. That team has way too much talent to be where they're at and have been all season.

Interesting point someone said the other day, and Im curious to see where people line. Lets say Cleveland didn't blow that lead last year. Would you say Maddon would be on the hot seat had they not won, and underachieved as much as they did this year? I know the other side of this where one would say " but they did win it", just a question.

They are one of 4 teams left.

This team is so talented yet you were saying earlier in the season that you would take basically every cardinal player over every Cub

He's been my favorite for 3 years now. Laid back surfer dude that just hits and stops everything hit at him.

I'm still erect from last night. Should I call my doctor?

Dave Roberts has managed a truly unbelievable 5 games in the playoffs so far.

Unless Bruce Bochy is intent on staying on the left coast, I would throw every available dollar at him after this season.

Maddon is a shitty in-game manager... he's great overall, but Bochy is as good as there is.
